Closed?

Is this company closed for business already as I've not heard anything from them for more than a year, the wiz kid Yat Sui seemed so quiet these days, where are their financial backups? Seemed the future for this company is quite unclear. Btw, their revenue should be up sharply as most of the similar ASP is charging for service, but there is no annoucement for so many months, may be their business model doesn't work at all... |

It's not a working business model.

OutBlaze used to emphasis the amount of page view and visitors per day across their affiliates sites, but this kind of business model already became yesterday’s history as the dotcom bubble burst. They need to convert the amount of users into revenue which renren.com tried but failed poorly. Um…is eCRM really dead? A final question, why does Yat post himself for the Citibank advertisement in Central? J |

I like their services and it seems that when visiting their website they are diong well ,so go Outblaze. Hong Kong needs more good I.T. companies to show that Hong Kong can copmete against Singapore and other countries too!
Good luck! |

Wrong charging model

OutBlaze must be in trouble if they keep on using a variable charging and ad-based scheme (i.e. just splitting ad revenues with their user sites). One of their biggest customers (from Taiwan) just left them for a more expensive (but better) system provider. |

Sigup with Sanrio doesn't mean much!

I read a news that Hong Kong's wiz kid Yat Su's OutBlaze recently signed up with Japanese biggest cartoon character Hello Ketty company (Sanrio). What I heard from an insider that OutBlaze gave free trial service to Sanrio for certain months. As we all know the free mail service isn't as glory as before, I don't have much hope in this kind of ASP field in Asia. OTOH, hotmail was so clever and they sold the asset to M$ before the NASDAQ crash. |

Good Services

I'm very pleased with their services. The advantage of using a mature service is that it has gone through a number of development phases. I don't know about the past, but today the service works very well.
The reason I choose Outblaze to run my website is because other big companies like Lycos and Helloasia use them. |
