Failure business model
Written by Lily Wong from Hong Kong on 8/10/2000
|
StarEast amassed significant net losses of HK$60.2 million for the quarter, among the culprits responsible for the losses are Leonstareastnet.com, which cost HK$11 million to develop, and a HK$20 million tab for marketing, promoting and launching new Web sites. Why is it so expensive? Is there something wrong with the internal financial status? Or the development and marketing cost is actually benefits its StarEast related companies? |
