Not bad for limited functionality

I use AASTOCK since last year, the subscription fee is quite low, but not much functionality. Compare to other on-line stock brokers such as Quamnet, it's real time quote is free, but most of the time the data is out of date and inaccurate, so I will still stick with AASTOCK. |

AAStocks is not profitable and they are still burning cash with their shareholder tom.com's support. |

Conflict of business?

The JV CSFBdirect between Hutchinson and CSFB put AASTOCK with a gray area. To my understanding AASTOCK is only a financial news portal where CSFBdirect stands for a leading on-line brokerage plus an exclusive financial news portal. In additional, the recent announcement from TOM.COM (as Hutchinson is a big shareholder) saying they will gradually fade out from all dotcoms invested. I wonder if AASTOCK will be affected soon due to conflict of business with CSFBdirect. |
