Sample size is completely independent...
Written by S Yap from Hong Kong on 8/16/2000

Sample size is completely independent of the population size. In other words, a sample of 2,000 will yield the same level of accuracy irrespective of whether the population is 2 million or 2 billion. It's counterintuitive, but true.
The most important thing in recruiting a panel is not the overall size, but that it is representative (i.e. exhibits the same demographic characteristics as the population) |

Questionable Statistics Data
Written by Oliver Zucchi from Hong Kong on 8/16/2000

I found iamasia’s latest statistics is very subjective. It’s not accurate at all comparing to AC Nelsons. How can iamasia use 2,000 home based users to represent the whole Asia rating? |
