Keep it up
Written by Jonathan Wong from Hong Kong on 12/31/2000

I do not agree with what Mr Paul Green wrote about cn2u. It is the only major portal site in Hong Kong which did not go public or backed by large public company. I'm sure they are struggling today but they seem to be on the right track. Keep it up folks. |

Short Term Gain, Long Term Pain!
Written by Paul Green from Hong Kong on 12/28/2000
|
Internet business in HK focus on short term profit taking, before the bubble burst, almost every one in this industry is thinking of packaging the company and get the money from the stupid investors and then get the hell out of the company asap, this is espcially truth for the Regal Group, which is the major backup of CN2U.

cn2u has changed a lot. I like the new design and the ease of use. Please add more content, such as discussion forum and bulletin board etc. cn2u is well focused and I'm sure people will go there to express their ideas on current Chinese affairs.

Cash Rich dot-com
Written by Dr. IPO from Hong Kong on 12/8/2000
|
I must say CN2U must got lots of cash to burn, because I saw their huge banner hanging on many places in Hong Kong for over 9 months and they send many people to promote their site by giving free tissues. Seemed CN2U really have a strong financial backup and I wonder when they are going to be IPO? Finally, generally speaking, it's content quality is acceptable compare to competitors such as suho.com or hongkong.com. |

China's WTO will help CN2U.
Written by James Garner from Hong Kong on 11/27/2000
|
I can see CN2U is expanding and have a lot of media coverage recently. I foresee that e-business + ICP will develop quickly in the Greater China region, with the growth of Internet usage expanding at exponential rates and with China's imminent entry into the World Trade Organization. CN2U will eventually become the major players among Sohu or Sina. |

No viable revenue model
Written by Rocket from Singapore on 8/12/2000

It's true that there is no viable revenue model to account for, but there have to be some innovative ways to attribute value on cn2u.com. Community strength could be a way for valuation. |
