From Asiacontent.com’s announcement today, we learned it’s selling CNET Hong Kong for US$6M, doesn’t this sound wired to you? It’s selling one of the most valuable asset and this enough making investor wondering if Asiacontent.com is in deep financial problem. I still remember Asiacontent.com made its way to a NASDAQ in a short period of time, and everyone clearly see this as a speculation. It proved by its stock at US$10/16 last night compare to US$16 at IPO. |

Asiacontent.com's sites have improving so much, especially MTV, you can feel their staffs has put a lot of efforts into the site in terms of design and content, news are always updated on the clock and I do see a trend for their growing on-line advertising stream as well. |

AC can still survive for 12-14 months.

As far as burn rate is concerned, AC can still survive for 12-14 months. I heard that they're really struggling to generate revenue (problems of all ICPs), so I guess AC is considering not only provides content but to diversify their biz in other ways. |
