All original staffs fired and now managed by sunevision. They don't have good revenue model but is as good as go2hk in terms of the platform. |

Red-Dots seemed catching up with their competitors in local market, I did search for "Sony Digital DX593", and I got almost 3 times result than I found in GO2HK. The result is good, but there are many people bidding, I think they definitely need much more traffic in order to keep a good site going. |

Red Dots new biz model is about continue to spend money to promote the useless brand, GO2HK continues to rule! Didn't you see they are going to post the first breaking news about earning increase since they started to charge a fee on all seller items? |

Not an ideal trading place

The platform and programming is good. Marketing is attractive.
But... their core business is just a mess. Seller seems receiving lots of bids just because they use their own accounts to push up the price. Bidder seldom gets great deal there.
Loose control on member is their weakness. |

Start charging on auction fee

I heard Red-Dot is having a hard time to collect the successful bid listing fee. Most of the users just by past their system and complete the deal under table. Same thing happens to GO2HK. Well, I really don't think the fee model will ever work in Hong Kong. BTW, how come RedDot site is so slow this days? |

This kind of free and charity based dot com have been dead for long time.
Without profits mean no improve in service. No business sense? |

I sold successfully once at red dots months ago, however, it wasted me many times for completing one trade.
Seems most members are not serious traders.
Anyway, it's ok for finish 1 trade finally.
I have not try other auction sites except red dots yet.
