Strange!
Written by RenRen MaiMai from Hong Kong on 1/5/2001

It's so strange, emaimai.com only started its promotion now after all the B2C model crashed 1 month ago. Isn't this too late to enter the already died market? What's the uniqueness then? However, emaimai.com’s new site looked much impressive than previous version , I heard many hongkong.com ex-staff joined the company recent. GO2HK may not be able to compete with this international giant if it start to charge as well (free was the ONLY selling point beforem, not anymore) |

Poor Service!

I cannot forgive their "Slow delivery". I want to give a Dreamcast for my cousin as Christmas gift. I bought from the Chop Shop and I planned to mail it to him in Canada.......Emaimai delayed the delivery !!!!!! My cousin cannot receive the game console during Christmas ! I WILL NEVER ever buy things there again ! |

Kind of limited.

The services provided are still limited. If more related services can be added, surely more people will use emaimai.com than other similar sites in the region. |

Hollywood backed

Seemed this Hollywood backed auction site has its potential to become the top class-bidding portal in Asia. Of course it also depends on the if it can take down the local giants such as GO2HK and Red-Dots. |

Best Chinese Auction Site

This is without question the best site for chinese with amazing unique products. I am a big 'Tin Ha' (Jonesky) Comic fan and for the first time I was able to bid and win a hand signed comic from the designer Mr. Ma! I also liked the easy to use system and all the celebrity collectibles. |

Hard to find items

eMaiMai has a very interesting idea going. There are lots of hard-to-find items that I can't find in other places-- like Hollywood memorabilia right off the movie sets and limited edition comic books and stamps.
They make it easy to use both in Chinese and English. And they are going to have auctions in different currencies. The site is just getting started, but overall, I like going there because I always find something new and interesting. |
