Desperate

Resorting to robot-voting and slandering other sites in order to boost its popularity here, instead of maintain their own site. Sad. |

Very helpful during economic downtime

Do you have any idea how many people find jobs through online recruiting during the economic downtime? Do you have any idea how many companies have made hires directly by posting on job boards? JobsDB has been improving its Web site all the time, from function, design to content, great work guys! |

How can JobsDB survive with no jobs?
Written by Fowler Callaway from Hong Kong on 11/6/2001

I see the recruitment industry has been hitted hardest since 911. Most of the MNC companies stop hiring and head count freeze even in March this year. JobsDB.com’s business is kind of shaky as I can see it’s moving into a wrong direction by offering discounted fee to companies and what they have on-line are cheap and low skill jobs. Which means revenue decrease and most of the highly skilled workers won’t even visit the site any more. Btw, their ad on the golf site is a total waste of money! |

Still need human filters
Written by Fangwing from Hong Kong on 11/3/2001

On line recruiting is far from the future. Those saying it are pimply faced 23 yr olds who have no job experience. Good jobs always REQUIRE face to face meetings with headhunter in order to filter out the losers. Someone posting a fake CV online with no possible way to verify is a waste of time for companies. |
