Bad design is still bad design!

Miss-one used to copy she.com's design from head to tail, now come out with its own so called new design, to our professional standard, it's kind of armature in its layout, I really don’t know how your boss Eunice Lam can stand this!!! Blur image, difficult user navigation, the designer (probably freelancer) should be laid off immediately. |

Copycat of she.com

Hong Kong local companies need to stop relying on duplicating and translating Western business models and Web sites. Miss-one copied exactly the same theme and layout from she.com, how shamful are they? As we are slowly coming to understand, differences in culture, education, history, and language mean that Asian consumers shop, work, and play differently than Americans or Europeans. Over the next few years, our consumer Internet should start to change to address these differences. |

Any good ones besides missone?

Sites like missone.com seem really lame as they previously copied the layout from she.com and I just wonder how they can ever look at being successful? Poor content, ugly site. Are there any good Asian women's sites? |

I just love the "love channel" especially the "men speak" column. it talks about men's perspective on women and is interesting to read. it helps me understand more on MEN - the ugly and yet lovely animal! |

Miss Unfortunate One

I think one of the founder Eunice Lam would never dream about the designer of miss-one.com will actually just copy the whold design from she.com and as well as the reviews on products were copied from different women portals, like march8, misskat, eladylady, etc. Therefore, I think it's one of the most unfortunate one among all and they seemed very proud of borrowing things from other sites without permission. |

Seven Unforgivable Guilt

I don't agree Anna's comment at all. First, it's still a copy cat of she.com; second the dl time is extremely long with poor animated gifs; third, the content is particular weak; fourth, the forum has no reply; fivth, B2C e-commmerce is dead, work work; sixth, lots JavaScript errors, 7th, always attack other women portals such as she.com and misskat.com in public place. |

this site is improving!

when i first browse this site, i thought it wouldn't be able to survive after x'mas because i don't think they got character. as of today, i think they have improved and is getting better, they are more interactive, quite frequent content update, famous model as beauty consultant, DJ as love consultant , and the most interesting part is the "article recruitment". i kind of like the DJ love comments. i wish miss-one will survive and won't like some other websites just disappear! |

Hong Kong based magazine always targeted on food and appearances only. I really hate about it. And, does beauty and fashion represents all the informative stuff women need to know? I really appreciate about the effort Miss-one had put in it, which about the information they try to bring to the readers. And, a "complete" women should be more aware of what's happening around us. No matter how pretty you are, it won't last.Time for HK women to rethink about their values and attitudes? |
