They have no revenues, no real leadership, lucky to get funding but i hear they are having alot of internal struggles. The mgmt team at soundbuzz is a little too close for comfort - suddhanshu, shabnam, andrew hoppe, janet eng etc were all from MTV, and just weeks before they left en masse, they were still preaching about how MTV Asia was going to turn it all around (they werent doing well then: regional crisis, plunging ratings, viewers negative to bahasa videos played next to Nirvana etc). |

What is this? obvious self-promotion?

This site seems to offer a lot of self-inflicted ego-enhancing. One wonders if these ratings are for real, especially for this one, as the site doesn't work very well, and has little depth given, considering the criteria people has to vote on. same with most sites here. |

A nice place for new singers

SoundBuzz is great in helping not so famous singers to expand their professional image across Asia. In my own opinion, US$1 or below is the right price for Asian audience and it's affortable. The music market will grow if we pay for artist hard work and fantastic music. Illegal copies will eventually destroy everything and at the end there will be no good music to listen for sure. |
