Haning on...

Web Connection has renamed itself to Ion-Global and to my surprise, it did have its second round staff laid off like its parent company Chinadotcom. Anyway, I expect Web Connection revenue will dramatically drop mainly because they will never have that much dot-com clients just before and there are same quality Internet constancy with cheaper charge out side. |

Web Connection was good before, but not anymore.

The firm was very good before 1997, because there aren’t many competitors on the market, however in recent years, Web Connection has lost many major clients, including HKTA and Cathy Pacific, main due to their high consulting fees. In my own opinion, I think the US firm such as Poppe Tyson and European firms such as Icon Media Labs will win over the local companies within this year. |

Not impressed with WC at all. I once received a project proposal from them where they forgot to delete the previous client's name! Sure made me feel they were giving me a "customized" solution. |

The most arrogant agency is web connection! Just because they are big name firm do not mean their people there are any good. Some are all talk, no performance. |

With its high reputation and excellent client basis, I fully recommend Web Connection to corporate who are looking for Internet consulting and value added services to their on-line business. Web Connection is not simply a Web shop, it’s an leading Internet consulting + ASP + design firm in Asia. |
