| renren is making next to nothing in advertising revenue, and they've pulled out of bus advertising in HK. Their excuse is that they're going to concentrate in the mainland now. Nice logo, shame about the substance!

| The operation is far too big, no real income, the businss model is not going to work, ie: community portal is too competitive with no cash. We nearly run out the money from last round of finance. Micheal and Anthony are so worry about the next round of funding. should not say too much, any job offers, please ? |

| renren has less than 1 percent market share in the portal business in China, but with the highest advertising budget. sohu.com is by far the best.
All renren knows how to do is spend money on those stupid commercials and billboards. |

| In my own opinion, renren.com is a failure business model from the beginning, founder from Mckinsey
doesn’t guarantee win and renren.com has been burning more than HK$1 billions so far without even HK$1M revenue, that’s really sad!!!

| Renren.com was a shining star a few months ago especially with investment from News Crop. It has officially announced laid off 108 staffs, about 30% off it’s team! Renren.com back-door listing was debatable and now it proved to public a company without real quality and plan will not last long. |

| I am shocked with renren.com's current business and revenue model that it has collected so much investment from international VC firms. I suspect this is only a speculation as the portal doesn't generate money at all. |

| All I can see renren.com is a copycat or "Me too" dotcom, I couldn't think of anything that's invented by renren.com, except borrowing best ideas from other sites. One thing noticeable that the speed of renren.com has dramatically increased over the past months since my last visit in Sept 1999. |
