Poor Customer Service!
Written by Gary Lok from Hong Kong on 8/15/2001

It's almost been two weeks since my placed my order and I've heard absolutely nothing from CP1897.COM. The fact that they have charged my money. This is unacceptable! I tried to call, their phone is always busy and asking me to leave my contact number, but never get back to me! Btw, the site design is too crowed, I always can't find what I am looking for! I suggest CP1897.COM better take a look at Amazon before they claimed to be the best on-line bookstore in Asia! |

Various source of on-line income
Written by Martin Li from Hong Kong on 8/12/2001

Nice to see CP1897.COM finally replaced Chinese Books. In fact, CP1897.COM has been expanding their various source of on-line income, such as student books during summer especially this is an urgent needs in Hong Kong. Parents are appreciated for this kind of help and willing to spend on-line, smart idea! Just a suggestion, think TWICE when choosing IBM NET Commerce as your backend next time, the response time is slow during peak hour, the application is not very scaleable! |

Commercial Press Cyber Book did it after ChineseBooks.net and B2C is indeed a good idea but how to make it possible before changing the buying habit of the customers. unlike the U.S., people still enjoy to walk the mall and shop outdoor. |
