TOM.COM claimed 5 billion market value and it will be listed on GEM (Hong Kong) in March 2000. However, I don't find the user interface is easy to use at all. In press, TOM.COM claimed over 8,000,000 visited, but only 45,000 user registered. I hope TOM.COM can do something about forcing visitor to register before viewing the content.
